Our Founder

Nikhil is a member of both the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) & Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales (ICAEW). He holds a Bachelor’s Honours degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of Manchester.

Nikhil heads Smooth’s client service team and guides them in providing seamless and integrated corporate services to clients both in Singapore & overseas. Nikhil is responsible to ensure Smooth’s ethos of the professional, personalised and smooth services is delivered consistently to all our clients.

Nikhil is an experienced chartered accountant and Alumnus of a Big 4 accounting firm (Deloitte UK). He has also gained commercial experiences during his previous tenure with Morgan Stanley & Thomson Reuters which helps him to understand the intricacies of taxation, finance, legal & regulatory.

Together with his team, he is responsible for ensuring that the clients under Smooth’s care conduct themselves within the Singapore regulatory environment, including compliance with the Singapore Companies Act and other relevant rules and regulations of the Singapore government.

Nikhil has gained exposure to diverse work cultures having previously worked in the UK, US & Australia. As a result, he adapts easily to new environments and thoroughly enjoys interacting with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
